Privacy Policy

Minimal Data Collection

Mana Forge collects the absolute minimum data necessary to provide the service. We do not collect personal identifying information such as real names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, or payment data.

What We Store

  • Username: A pseudonym you choose. Not linked to your real identity.
  • Display name: Optional. We recommend not using your real name.
  • Password: Stored only as an irreversible hash (bcrypt). We cannot read your password.
  • Game data: Decklists, game logs, salt votes. These are game data, not personal data.

Legal Basis (GDPR Art. 6)

The legal basis for processing is performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b): we process your data to provide the service you registered for. No consent is needed for strictly necessary processing.

Data Controller

The data controller is Mana Forge, contactable at info@manaforge.it.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for the duration of your account. When you delete your account, all data (username, decklists, game logs, votes) is permanently removed within 24 hours. No backups are kept beyond 30 days.

Third-Party Services

  • Anthropic (Claude AI): Deck building conversations are processed by Anthropic's API. Conversations are not stored by Mana Forge after the session ends. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
  • Scryfall: Card images are loaded directly from Scryfall's CDN. Your browser makes requests to Scryfall's servers. See Scryfall's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any other third parties. We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising services.

Cookies

One HttpOnly session cookie for authentication. No tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. See Cookie Policy.

Your Rights (GDPR)

  • Access: View your data in the app (decks, games, account info).
  • Deletion: Delete your account from the Settings page. All data is permanently removed.
  • Portability: Export your decklists as text files from each deck page.
  • Rectification: Update your display name from the Settings page.
  • Complaint: You may file a complaint with your national data protection authority.
